Educational and product-guidance use

Hearstead provides educational content, hearing-wellness tools, product information, and non-emergency support. The site does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, telehealth, or a substitute for a licensed clinician.

Product guidance, Cathy, Product Expert, hearing-screen information, articles, and support messages are informational tools. They can help explain products, policies, setup, troubleshooting, navigation, and next steps, but they do not determine clinical suitability or authorize refunds, warranties, tax outcomes, or supplier actions.

Purchases

Purchases through Hearstead are governed by the Terms of Sale, Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Warranty and Manufacturer Support Policy, Privacy Policy, and any product-specific disclosures shown before purchase.

If these general Terms conflict with a product-specific disclosure, approved written policy, verified order record, or non-waivable consumer right, the more specific or legally controlling term applies.

Hearing screen

The hearing screen is a private awareness tool. Results can be affected by headphones, device volume, room noise, browser behavior, and other limitations. It should not be treated as a clinical hearing evaluation or diagnostic result.

Emergency or urgent symptoms

Do not use Hearstead for emergency care. Sudden hearing changes, hearing loss in one ear, ear pain, drainage, dizziness or vertigo, blood or fluid from the ear, severe hearing difficulty, or another concerning symptom should be directed to appropriate professional medical care.

Responsible use

You may not misuse Hearstead, submit fraudulent or unlawful requests, interfere with checkout, payment, support, returns, warranty, or fulfillment systems, misuse product data, or use Hearstead to seek emergency, diagnostic, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Site content and product data

Hearstead content, product organization, product guidance, articles, product data presentation, Cathy and Product Expert output, site design, and related materials are provided for personal, household, educational, shopping, and support use through Hearstead.

You may not scrape, bulk copy, resell, republish, train models on, or commercially misuse Hearstead content, product data, product organization, Cathy output, Product Expert output, or support materials unless Hearstead expressly authorizes that use in writing or applicable law permits it.

System and support misuse

You may not interfere with or abuse Hearstead's site, checkout, payment, support, return, warranty, accessibility, privacy, Cathy, Product Expert, email, security, or operational systems.

We may refuse, limit, suspend, cancel, or route requests for human review where permitted by law if a request appears fraudulent, abusive, automated, unauthorized, unlawful, unsafe, or inconsistent with these Terms or our posted policies.
